ASW 2022 is in July!

30 April 2022

The wait is over... Apparel Sourcing Week is now being held on July 1 & 2, 2022

The organiser of the event Apparel Resources  (AR) has chosen the garden city of India (Bengaluru) to be the host of this two-day event again and the venue this time will be the iconic Hotel Sheraton Grand.

Please mark the dates in your calendar as things are going to be on a much bigger scale this time around. From a 30-exhibitor show, ASW in its 2022 edition is going to bring in at least 100 manufacturers from apparel manufacturing strongholds of India, Bangladesh, China, Vietnam and Sri Lanka.

“The créme de la crème of garment manufacturing fraternity from these five countries would display the latest collections for two exciting days filled with business opportunities, knowledge sharing and intense networking in an inspiring and motivating environment. We have designed the show to cater not only to hardcore sourcing teams but also the merchandisers, designers and influencers, all of whom are integral to the business of fashion,” says CEO of ASW, Mayank Mohindra.

Coming at the back of the COVID-19 pandemic, the organisers are aware no one would like to miss this grand opportunity. As such they have scheduled the event in such a way (Friday and Saturday) that you can come in with your team on Friday if you are planning an official visit not to mention the Saturday when one can drop in at leisure to attend the planned activities, spend some quality time at the exhibition, touch base with the who’s who of the retail sector while also soak in the vibes of one of Asia’s most sought-after shows.

ASW ’22 will also feature a specially designed ‘Resource Section’ wherein 50 manufacturers/suppliers of Fabric and Accessories from South East Asia will showcase their best collections to the visitors and exhibitors alike to visualise and plan future assortments.

Keeping with the scale and dynamics of the 2022 edition of the event, the visitation profile has also been expanded to include buyers from traditional markets like USA and Europe, besides Indian and global retailers/brands working in the Indian market.

Don’t be surprised if you manage to strike a sourcing deal with teams from Japan and Australia, as the organiser of this event, thanks to their longstanding association with the manufacturing and fashion retail sectors, know the future of retail in these non-traditional destinations.

Apart from the expanded visitor base representing various brands, retailers and buying offices who are expected to attend the show from across geographical locations, the focus on knowledge and networking will continue to be in limelight with 6 Seminars, 4 Workshops, 6 Open House forums, 4 Vendor meets, not to mention plentiful networking opportunities, during these two days.

Don’t miss this grand opportunity....Hope to see you in Bangaluru in July!
