Many exporters back again at ASW 2023

Apparel Sourcing Week (ASW), renowned for its value proposition, is inching closer, and more and more garment manufacturers are joining the ASW bandwagon, many amongst whom are repeat participants.

This is a testimony to ASW’s unprecedented popularity amongst the various players in the supply chain- from garment makers, accessories and trims manufacturers to fabrics suppliers to thread manufacturers and many more.

Following is the list of some of the renowned apparel makers from across the globe who have already confirmed their participation for ASW 2023, scheduled to be held on 20th21st July at Bengaluru’s iconic Grand Sheraton Hotel and Convention Center:

GILDAN BRANDS

Gildan is one of the world's most efficient, ethical and sustainable apparel manufacturers, with a strong portfolio of brands, such as Gildan®, American Apparel®, Comfort Colors®, GOLDTOE® and Peds®.

Gildan Activewear Inc. (GIL: TSX and NYSE) has been included in Corporate Knights’ 2023 Global 100 list of the world’s most sustainable corporations for the second consecutive year even as it moved up its ranking from 79th last year to 60th overall this year and was the only apparel manufacturing company to be included on the list globally.

Gildan’s manufacturing operations are located in Central America, the Caribbean Basin, North America and Bangladesh and it boasts of approximately 30 company-owned manufacturing facilities globally.

EPIC DESIGNERS LTD.

Laguna Clothing, one of its Indian units, has established itself as a premium manufacturer of clean and pristine shirts in formal, semi-formal and sport categories.

With an initial production capacity of 2500 shirts/day, Laguna has set its first manufacturing unit in Kanakapura, Bengaluru, and is spread across an area of 130,000 sq. ft., with an annual production capacity of 5 million shirts even if it has been expanding to double its capacity with a second manufacturing unit at Doddaballapura, Bengaluru.

Laguna believes that the most essential determinant of quality is workmanship and it has been honing skills from fine luxe dress shirts to comfortable knitted and denim sport shirts, thus enlarging its spectrum of products to improve fashion every day.
