Suman Chowdhury is a lingerie design veteran with over 17 years of experience. He holds extensive experience in Product Development, Sourcing & Strategic Planning. At Clovia, he manages designing, production and operations with strong focus on top & bottom line growth in dynamic and rapidly changing Indian retail market. A fashion designer by education and a graduate from Kolkata University, Suman is the brain behind introducing more profit verticals in this segment under the Clovia Brand. Suman’s vision is to evolve Clovia into an International name to be reckoned with quality and design. Having over 15 years’ of experience in Product Development, Sourcing & Strategic Planning, Suman has worked for known names like GSPL, Lee Cooper, and Levis-denizen. He has also designed the clothing lines for Sarah Jessica Parker, Amanda Bynes & Venus Williams, under the brand S&B, USA and has worked with other international markets as well.
At the age of just 14, Nathasha knew more about fabrics & textiles than any other kid of her age. Observing her parent’s small textile business in China, she developed a burning desire to paint a bigger, brighter picture of her own in the field. That picture today is known as Vajor, a private label dealing in Fashion & Lifestyle products of unmatched aesthetics, quality & price points. At the age of 17, she returned to India to begin a new venture – a Retail, Fashion and Lifestyle brand VAJOR.COM – building India’s large fashion social seller’s community. An experienced brand management professional with more than two decades spent in apparel and retail, he has to his credit the inception and success of 'Skult' - India's first true athleisure brand. Apart from his association with Madura Fashion and Lifestyle for 10 years, he also served as a Brand Director for Van Heusen for 4 years. He is also an accredited coach, and a corporate trainer for leadership development in ABG. He was also a part of the CSR team of Apparel and Retail businesses of Aditya Birla Group.
