International Buyer Programme, the much-awaited addition in ASW 2020

22 August 2019

Buying now is not what it was a few years back… Today the parameters of Price, Delivery, Speed and Sustainability have become the cornerstones of success for buying operations and who better can understand this than Apparel Resources, the publisher of the widely read magazines, Apparel Online India, Apparel Online Bangladesh, Apparel Online Vietnam and StitchWorld.
The proud organiser of ASW, Apparel Resources has been around in the industry for a very long time and understands the intricacies of the sourcing business like no other publisher. With over 25 years of existence, AR has stood as a strong pillar supporting, guiding and standing by garment exporters, manufacturers and the retail industry through thick and thin, and keeping tab on every development even as the market grows and evolves.
With this profound experience, Apparel Resources has initiated an ‘International Buyer Programme’ for the upcoming edition of ASW to provide highly-efficient face time for serious business discussions between the exhibitors and the buyers. This programme has been specially curated to invite and host 200 international buyer delegates from all leading national and international bricks-and-mortar retail chain stores and e-commerce platforms, who will visit all the manufacturers and share their insights on the evolving market dynamics and business requirements. (For more information on the buyer programme, please visit our website www.apparelsourcingweek.com).
We also have onboard more than 100 compliant manufacturers from Asia showcasing their latest collections at the premier show in a diverse range of products - Ladieswear, Suits, Lingerie, Athleisure, Kidswear, Outerwear, Denims, Jackets, Swimwear, to name a few.
Scheduled to be held at Sheraton Grand in Bengaluru on 20-21-22 February 2020, ASW will be in line with Apparel Resources’ vision to develop the event as a Go-To Sourcing Platform for all retailers and brands looking for premium manufacturers from around the world. The show will open its doors to 100 manufacturers from India, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Myanmar and China, including the luxury manufacturers that are into high-value apparels, in addition to mass producers of fashion.
Apart from names like Standard Group, Pacific Jeans, Epic Group, Bando Designs, Giant Group, Pratibha Syntex, Well Group, Anowara, Armana, etc., which exhibited in ASW 2019, ASW 2020 will have many more established names from other parts of the Asian continent.
The second edition will also witness 50 manufacturers/suppliers of fabrics and accessories displaying their latest collections for the visitors and exhibitors to visualise and plan future assortments. Understanding that buying teams are always on the lookout for new ideas, a special section is also being developed for showcasing the latest developments in fabric and accessories.
Add to that the much-awaited networking opportunities through multiple networking platforms to bring together the decision makers from the Indian and international retail industry and the top manufacturers from Asia.
That’s not all, ASW 2020 like its previous edition, will also have 6 seminars, 6 workshops and 4 open house discussions, focusing on knowledge dissemination through stimulating debates and thought-provoking forums, encapsulating new and current topics and bigger panel of experts. Overall, ASW 2020 will be much more extensive and interactive that would provide an opportune time and place to meet and negotiate deals with not only the decision makers of Indian retailers and brands but also those of international retailers and brands.
