Press Release 3 October 2019

Overwhelming response to ASW 2020

More than 100 manufacturers, 50 plus manufacturers/suppliers of fabrics and accessories, 200 international buyer delegates from leading national and international bricks-and-mortar retail chain stores and e-commerce platforms, decision makers of Indian and global retail industry, 6 seminars, 6 workshops, 4 open house discussions, networking lunch on all three days, ASW 2020 has already created a buzz, which is simply mind-boggling.
Aimed at facilitating the ultimate Go-To Sourcing Platform for all retailers and brands looking for premium manufacturers from around the world, ASW ’20 is overwhelmed at the response it is receiving from all quarters, across the globe. If participants from the last edition have confirmed their participation already, with each passing day, more and more names are adding to the list.
From Indonesia, Intimate Apparels and Busana Apparel Group (one of the largest garment manufacturers and exporters having 30 manufacturing facilities in Indonesia and Ethiopia, specialising in mens’ and womens’ casualwear, formalwear, active sportswear and technical garments with production capacity of 50 million pieces per annum) have confirmed their participation. From Bangladesh, renowned garment makers Utah Group, BSA Apparels, Shin Shin Group and NPM Apparels are amongst the other new names which would make their presence felt in ASW ’20 with their wide and all-encompassing product ranges.
Also confirming participation and showing keen interest to be included in this exclusive sourcing show are many new players from countries like China, Vietnam, Sri Lanka (which will also have a high-level manufacturers’ delegation) and Myanmar that has made the organiser scout for a city which would offer maximum business potential as well as a venue with a scale to comfortably accommodate all the distinguished guests, participants and visitors.
Sheraton Grand Bengaluru Whitefield Hotel & Convention Center (with its 61,443 sq. ft. meeting space, expansive conference and convention facility) in India’s Silicon Valley and business hub, Bengaluru, has therefore emerged as the most ideal venue. Home to India’s majority of software professionals and corporate honchos, Bengaluru is also one of the few cities where all major international and domestic brands/retailers/labels have their widespread presence to cash in on the business opportunities emerging from the ever-increasing spending power of the city’s upwardly mobile population.
Come February 2020, Sheraton Grand will be abuzz with activities for three consecutive days- February 20, 21 and 22. And this time around, ASW is going to be more extensive and interactive. The much-awaited networking opportunities through multiple networking platforms, knowledge dissemination through stimulating debates and thought-provoking forums, encapsulating new and current topics and bigger panel of experts, all add up to give a new dimension to the second edition of the show.
The unique networking opportunities in particular – that have the potential to translate into long-term and promising business relationships – have stakeholders preparing to make the best of the upcoming event already.
From the house of Apparel Resources with more than two-decades in the manufacturing industry and presence in countries like India, Bangladesh and Vietnam through its print verticals, ASW 2020 promises a never before all-round experience that would open new windows of opportunity to spread your footprints in India’s vibrant fashion retail sector and take your business to the next level.
