A wide selection of quality products in various categories at value prices is what Apparel Sourcing Week, India 2019 will be offering to its visitors. When benchmarked apparel exporters like Pacific Jeans, Apex Lingerie Limited and Epic Designers come together on the same platform to exhibit the best of their collections, there cannot be a better place to be for the retailers than Apparel Sourcing Week, India, which is to be held in Bengaluru on 15th and 16th March 2019.
Pacific Jeans, which is one of the largest groups in Bangladesh and is considered among the leaders in the denim market especially with regard to producing sustainable and innovative denim products, is one of the biggest attractions of the event. The denim connoisseur, which till date showcases only in Europe, has five production units across Bangladesh, annually producing 30 million pieces of world- class denim bottoms with an annual turnover of US $ 400 million.
Pacific has set up its own product development lab - Pacific Jeans Innovation Centre (PJIC) that works in close collaboration with the leading fashion designers of premium denim brands from USA, Europe and Japan, to regularly come up with value-added innovations. Excited about the potential opportunities in Indian retail, this progressive and product development-oriented company that imports 95 per cent of fabrics from overseas, will be displaying casual denim bottoms in line with Indian market demands.
For those retailers/brands that are into lingerie and innerwear, Apex Lingerie Limited, one among the seven biggest companies of Apex Holdings Limited in Bangladesh, produces women's and men's innerwear, night suits and shapewear – a wide range of products that has helped the company add to its esteemed list of clienteles, retail stalwarts like Walmart, Zara, H&M, Target, Hanes and Primark among several others. However, at the event, they will be majorly showcasing women’s lingerie, a growing category in Indian market.
Apex has its own state-of-the-art product development department staffed by textile engineers and professional fashion designers, who in synchronisation with Research and Development team, continue to develop new fabrics, elastics, prints and other embellishments. The fashion designers and experts at Apex then use these to develop fashion and apparel items that are then exported to several countries and continents. The company annually manufactures two million pieces of lingerie items, each of which could be a buyer’s delight at the sourcing event.
The Epic Group, Hong Kong, is another respected name in the apparel industry that will be showcasing at the inaugural edition of Apparel Sourcing Week, India. The group has four manufacturing facilities spread over Bangladesh, Vietnam, Ethiopia and Jordan. Epic has an annual turnover of US $ 500 million in the region and the capacity to produce 36 million pieces annually.
